Down and out magician Lance Baxter exits through the backstage door after his show to avoid his bookie and witnesses mob boss Vincent Cardini kill a man in the alley. Now his bookie wants his debt paid, the mob wants him dead and the police are starting to ask questions. Is Lance done for or does he have one last trick up his sleeve?
