"Warm the World Back Up"
DR. HARRY CHARLES (Nicolas Cage) is an expert on the human condition and an inspiration to millions of people around the globe. His self-help books, videos and seminars are revolutionary, they have made him rich, and have earned him a Nobel Peace Prize. When he and his family are hit by a drunk driver, he is the only one to survive. After extensive reconstructive surgery and nearly a year in the hospital, he decides to return to the scene of the accident. Broken and all alone, he loses his will to live and contemplates suicide. Months of pain follow, and just as he is about to end it all, he receives a letter from a young girl. The girl (Dakota Fanning) is the daughter of the drunk driver, who also died in the crash. Her apology and kind words touch deep into his heart, and stop him from doing the worst. Their continued correspondence forges an unbreakable bond, restores his faith in humanity and brings him back to life.

"Love Grows Here"
After his wife leaves him for another man, accountant Henry Stratton (Nicolas Cage) is forced to raise his two kids all alone. One, a 10 year old girl well beyond her years, the other, a confused teenage boy who is rebelling against everything he can find. After his son nearly dies from a drug overdose, Henry, an alcoholic, finally realizes that everything is his fault. Faced with the horror of losing his children, Henry decides to lead by example and give up the bottle. He is determined to bridge the gap and give his kids a fighting chance.
